November 20th, 2008 Dear Friends, Pluto is the Planet of transformation. It sounds good when you say it
real fast, but the process is intense. There is a letting go of what we have grown
out of, and the embracing of a new way of being. This takes place over a long
period of time. When you are in the middle of it, you don’t really know
that you are deeply into a process that is going to bring change. We have to
let go of something we are attached to in order for us to reach the depths
that are necessary for a rebirth. Maybe this is like strip poker on a
spiritual level. At first you are letting go of things that are easier to
live without, then you get down to your last piece of underwear. This is the
time when surrender takes place. There is nothing to hide; you are exposed,
and the emergence of a new you is happening. When Pluto goes through a sign of the Zodiac, it begins to strip away
at the things in that area of your chart. Peeling away, through the
experiences you are having, to get to the real core. Pluto spends anywhere
from 11 to 21 years in a sign. It is not until Pluto is ready to leave a sign
that we realize that we are no longer the same, and the transformation has
taken place. Pluto takes over when it enters a sign; it is like an
occupation. Pluto has taken over, and occupied the sign Sagittarius for 13
years. Sagittarius is the sign of the Zodiac that is ruled by Jupiter. The
nature of this sign is to expand, learn, grow, and understand. This is why it
rules education, travel, foreigners, foreign countries, religion, philosophy,
and anything that broadens our view of life. Some of us may have a narrow
philosophy, which is a view of others who are different, and who are narrow
minded, and who have an understanding of life that lacks information.
Pluto’s occupation of this sign for the last 13 years has put that sign
through an intense education. We learned, we grew, we expanded, and now what?
Has it exposed the toxin that lies in all of us? Have we grown to understand
life in a more understanding way? We shall see! Pluto is leaving Sagittarius
on the 26th of November. As it departs, we realize how much we
have grown in our understanding of others. Pluto is entering the sign Capricorn on the 26th of
November where it will be for 16 years. The expansion, in order to learn, is
over; and now, it is time to bring those changes into a new structure. The
party is over, and now it is time to set new boundaries and build new
systems; so, this world will be a better, healthier place to live in. Since
Sagittarius is a freedom loving sign, Pluto having been there for the last 13
years, gave us the freedom to expand as much as we wanted. We have had
unlimited information with the internet, and with improvement in technology,
we have had unlimited credit, we have had freedom to express ourselves, and
we have been able to dress to express our individuality. Because of these
opportunities over the last 13 years, we have overextended ourselves. There
has been extreme expansion beyond normal boundaries. Pluto in Capricorn will
bring a new order to things, and will help us to restore our boundaries. The
boundaries and borders that are built in have been breeched in every one of
us, in some way; or, others doing that have affected our security. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is currently in Virgo. This energy is
giving us the tools to put things back in order, and they will be in better order
than before. Saturn never makes us go backward, except to find the foundation
from which to begin a new. Saturn is in opposition to Uranus now; so, they
have to work together. Saturn is the structure and the system,
and Uranus brings change and new ideas into that structure. Pluto’s
entrance into Capricorn will break down the old, so new can be built. There
will be some loss as Uranus replaces with innovative new ways. On the 27th of November, Thanksgiving, there will be a New
Moon in Sagittarius. We are getting our first peak into the newly renovated
sign since Pluto left on the 26th. Sagittarius is an optimistic,
expansive sign that is always looking to the future. Now that this sign is no
longer occupied by Pluto’s extremes, we can trust our own realistic
view of the future. Jupiter is the Planet that rules Sagittarius,
and it is currently in Capricorn. We will be setting intentions for what we
want to accomplish on this New Moon. Our normally expansive view that evokes
from this sign will be tempered with Jupiter in constructive Capricorn. It is
all good. You will see. We need a better system, and the view of what that
needs to be will come with this New Moon. The New Moon will be at 11:54 am EST on November 27th at 5
degrees Sagittarius 49 minutes. It will be a time to be thankful for all the
blessings you have. Being grateful now goes a long way. You know how
Capricorn likes to be appreciated. It is not that we are entitled to just
take, take, and take without some thankfulness. Jupiter in Capricorn is
bringing that to our attention. The day before a New Moon, we begin our list;
it just so happens that the day before this New Moon Pluto leaves Sagittarius
and enters Capricorn. This is a big shift of energy. This means the end of an
era, and it
also may mean the end of a situation for you. Your list may be different than
what you thought it would be even a couple months ago. What might be on your
list is how grateful you are. Uranus, the Planet of change and also surprises, is currently in
opposition to Saturn. This began on November 4th, and will
continue for a couple of years. This hasn’t happened in 42 years; so,
we need to move with this. This is a rolling change. Things will unfold over
time, and you must move with it. Do not overreact, because you may jump the
gun and make changes before this all plays out. That is why you change as you
go and only change what is necessary until you get the big picture. On
November 4th, when they first came into opposition, Uranus was
retrograde and Saturn was direct. Saturn was in control, and stating the
gloom and doom of what we needed to do, and Uranus was
not able to completely engage with the new ideas. Uranus goes direct at 11:08
am on the 27th as the New Moon is forming. Now we have both Saturn
and Uranus direct, and they have to cooperate. This energy stays like this
until December 31st when Saturn goes retrograde, and Uranus
continues in direct motion to bring in change. It is interesting that Pluto changes signs on the 26th,
and Uranus goes direct on the 27th. This brings plans of how we
need to make changes that, up until now, there has been no movement. This New
Moon ushers in the plan. This brings me to Mercury. Mercury is the Planet
that helps us make decisions, which, in turn, brings plans and solutions. At
the time of this New Moon, Mercury is in Sagittarius conjunct Mars. This
certainly lights a fire, and gets us going. It is a time to think positive
thoughts, and it is a time to be proactive. Mercury and Mars together in
Sagittarius is the energy to be positive and proactive. Happy Thanksgiving! You have a lot to be thankful for. Blessings, Brenda All times are given for EDT. After November 2nd, all times
will be EST time until the spring when we go on EDT. * * * |
