A New Moon will occur on February 21st, 2012 at 5:35 pm EST at 2 degrees Pisces 42 minutes. It is the opening of a new chapter in our lives and it is introducing the homecoming of Neptune. This is going to be a very interesting New Moon as it will reveal what has been hidden or up until now unavailable. Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac and it is the catch basin for all unfinished business or things that we forgot about. It is time to clean up those things so we can move on. Maybe this is the reason we haven't been totally able to get things moving. Once we uncover what is in the way both literally and psychologically we can get on with it. This could be pretty exciting and a time when you can get the energy to do what you want.
Uranus went in to Aries a year ago. Uranus hadn't been in Aries in 84 years. Uranus spends about 7 years in a sign and it brings change. Uranus is an awakener. One of the key phrases is "freedom from the known". This certainly means that we have to get over what we have known and where we have been in order to move on. It doesn't mean forget it but it means to bring closure to a chapter in your life so you can step into the unknown and discover something new. Over the past year Uranus has been encouraging us to re-invent ourselves. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and it is identity. It is a new beginning. Uranus is awakening that in us so we can embrace what before now we may not have been ready for. This New Moon in Pisces will bring up the loose ends that haven't been addressed so we can respond to what Uranus is asking for. Next month on March 22nd the New Moon will be in Aries conjunct Uranus. That is when we need to be ready to move forward. This lunation in Pisces will help us get out of our own way.
Saturn is the Planet of timing and it has been in Libra for the last couple of years. Saturn will be finished with its assignment in Libra on October 5th. In the meantime, Saturn is holding us accountable for the lack of civility in our lives. It is time to bring beauty and balance into our sphere. You may already have or you may need to tweak it a bit or you may need to start from scratch. Saturn is the Planet of timing and opportunity. Saturn went retrograde on February 7th at the last degree of Libra. The last degree of a sign is more like an ultimatum. It is to bring harmony, balance, and cooperation asap. Saturn will be retrograde until June 25th. A retrograde period is a chance to repair, look deeper, and get things done. This is all about our relationship skills. I guess, before we can move forward and satisfy Uranus' demands in Aries to be our authentic selves; we have to look at who we are through our relationships. When Saturn goes direct on June 25th it will be the signal that the time of adjustment and learning is finished and we need to move forward.
Mars is the Planet that rules Aries. Uranus has occupied the sign Aries with its energy and will remain there for 6 more years. Mars has a job to get us up to speed with what Uranus wants. Uranus wants us to be free to be ourselves. Mars entered Virgo on November 10th and started an orientation period. Virgo is the sign that rules our daily routine. This includes work, scheduling, diet, exercise, and coping skills. Mars usually stays in a sign for six weeks unless it goes retrograde. Mars went retrograde in Virgo on January 23rd, it will go direct on April 13th, and will be out of Virgo by the 4th of July. Mars is directing our energy to clean up our daily habits. It is getting us prepped for what Uranus wants for us. There may be one revelation after another as Mars goes through Virgo with a fine tooth comb. It will unravel, clean up, reorganize, and get rid of what is in your way. No excuses, you need to work on something and Mars is a helpful agent. Mars will make what needs to be done crisper and cleaner. You cannot ignore Mars. The action needed to be taken to bring yourself up to speed is being revealed by Mars.  March 3rd will be the exact middle of the Mars retrograde. That is when Mars is in its Full Phase; just like a Full Moon but it only happens once every two years. Mars is at its saturation point. That means you know everything you need to know to begin the action necessary to move forward. The rest of Mars retrograde until April 13th is to implement the corrections. At the very least it is time to get healthy.
Back to the New Moon on February 21st, in Pisces conjunct Neptune. Neptune is in it own sign for the first time in 165 years. Welcome home! This means that Neptune is more comfortable bringing its energy to us out of its own sign. Neptune in Aquarius for the last 14 years brought us Aquarius uncensored. Aquarius is humanity, individuality, and originality. Neptune there brought all kinds of tools to connect with others. Cutting edge of technology is Aquarius' forte'. Neptune released that. We now have the tools of the internet in the most personal sense that we didn't have 14years ago. Everyone carries a computer with them via phone, car, etc. It has brought facebook, twitter, etc. It has also brought all the reality shows so everyone can advertise their individuality to the max. We are all voyeurs by invitation and it has become fascinating to the masses. Neptune left Aquarius and its work was done there. It dissolved the boundaries between us. Now what will we do with this ability. Will we understand each other and get along better? We shall see. Neptune in Pisces will slowly dissolve our interest in being in everyone's reality life and bring attention to our own imagination, fairy tales and myth. The reality shows will slowly lose their ground and we will turn our interest to our own inner selves instead of the fascination with others behavior. Neptune in Pisces will bring beauty, art, music, and dance into our vibration. The interest may be on beautiful voices that transport us to a higher energy.
At this New Moon in Pisces it is time to be open to receiving the blessings of this energy. Shut off the chatter for a little while and see if you can hear the voice within. You will be led in the right direction and any fear you have about the unknowns of your future will dissolve.
