November 15th, 2013
The New Moon is when we plant seeds and set intentions. The Full Moon is when the New Moon's intentions bare fruit. On the New Moon/Solar Eclipse on November 3rd at 11 degrees Scorpio 16 minutes we set the intention to get our lives under control. It surely has let us know what had control over us and what we have control over. You may have found out how flexible or inflexible you are under stress. That New Moon is now reaching Full and it is time to release all that has built up over the last couple of weeks. The truth of the matter may be that this Full Moon is releasing things that have been building up over the last five years. A Full Moon will take place on November 17th, 2013 at 10:14 am EST at 25 degrees Taurus 26 minutes. Stake your claim! Draw a line in the sand! Say no more! This is where I stand!
The key phrase for Taurus is, “What do I have?” Taurus is concerned with getting results. Money, personal resources, security, survival skills, and self-esteem are all part of the Taurus dialogue. To have the things around us which make us comfortable and reflects who we are is necessary for this sign. This sign likes to build and collect. Where this sign is in your chart is where you build security. Your talent and resources will be developed and nurtured in this area. It is where you will protect your territory and have a sense of ownership. This Full Moon in Taurus is bringing all of that to your attention.
Each sign contains thirty degrees of the Zodiac. Each sign is divided into three sections of 10 degrees called Decanates. This Full Moon is occurring in the Capricorn Decanate of Taurus. This is the sign that co-rules this lunation. Venus is the ruler of Taurus therefore it is the ruler of this Full Moon. Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn and it is the co-ruler of this lunation. At the time of this Full Moon, Venus is in Capricorn keeping company with Pluto. It is time for some intense and deep focus on what we want. Venus is also being challenged by a square to Uranus. It is time to breakaway from what controls us but no longer represents us. It is time to create the space for what you are passionate about. Saturn is in Scorpio and the intentions are to make a deep commitment for what we want to accomplish. You may be marking off your territory now and you know what you want and what you don't want. It is time to protect what you have. There may be someone encroaching on your territory. Set boundaries but also you need to be open to sharing. That brings growth.
Each sign is also divided into 12 sections called Dwads. These are 2 ½ degree spaces. This Full Moon is in the Pisces Dwad of Taurus. This is bringing in the intuitive part of the situation. It is time to show you have faith in what you may not as yet see or you may now see what you never saw before. Jupiter and Neptune are the rulers of Pisces and their position at this time influence this Full Moon. Jupiter is in Cancer and Neptune is in Pisces. They are both very comfortable in their positions. Jupiter exalts in Cancer and it is bringing expansion and understanding to what you are emotionally connected to, and so it seems you are ready for this. Neptune, in its own sign, is helping you trust yourself to go in the right direction. You are put in a position where you have to make some choices. Do what is best for you.
THE SABIAN SYMBOL: A SPANIARD SERENADING HIS SENORITA.
This is a symbol of man's unlimited capacity for self-establishment and for finding everything he desires immediately at hand, as here given emphasis on the ideal side. Reality is seen as the product of every least element the individual contributes to its over-all effectiveness, rather than as the end result of whatever he may discover and pre-empt for himself privately. A poetry of living and a music of desire become the final touchstones for a true self-fulfillment. The keyword is CONSTANCY. When positive, the degree is the continual reassurance by which the will of man coaxes the depths of his soul into his experience, and when negative, futile attempts to control life by empty blandishment. “Sabian Symbols” Marc Edmund Jones.
